CUSTOM BPO FORMULATIONS

One of our specialties is the development of custom pastes to meet your specific requirements for assay, viscosity, pigmentation and stability. Our on-staff chemists have personally developed dozens of new benzoyl peroxide products for companies worldwide.

A few products developed in our custom paste program include silicone-based BPO, anhydrous BPO and ketone peroxide based pastes. For example, our AU-50 anhydrous BPO dispersions in dioctyl phthalate plasticizer are also available for systems where water cannot be tolerated in certain polyester and vinyl ester resins, vinyl monomers, etc. And our special BPO pastes have been designed for the anchor bolt industry at both 25 and 55% assay. These and other variations can be custom tailored for use where mix ratios dictate the peroxide activity level.

Our Mono-Pak System, with 10% to 20% BPO, is designed for the polyester molding trade. Each formulation is designed for a specific customer need and contains BPO, pigments, plasticizer(s) and mold release agent(s). The product blend and film package is pre-measured to customer requirements and can be charged directly to the polyester blend, thus eliminating mix station time.
